A Trip to the Hardware Store
Blaming both my full iPhone storage and this week's round up on CBK’s forever iconic style
I just finished reading the latest memoir on the life and legacy of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Pre-read, I blame my ever full iPhone storage space on the endless CBK-inspired saved screenshots so it’s no surprise that the consistent reference in the biography to Carolyn’s favourite designer, Yohji Yamamoto, sparked a hunt for this week’s vintage round up.
Indulge me with not one, not two, but three Yohji Yamamoto finds below, along with some other gems. Happy shopping!!
1. / 5. / 7. aforementioned Yohji Yamamoto fixation: red lace tunic (L), black sleeveless tunic (XS), and the black pantsuit (S) that feels so very Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy it makes my heart hurt.
2. Easy to wear Khaite ballet flats (37.5) / 3. This red vintage Versace blazer (M) is beyond beyond. Pair down with denim and loafer! Pair up with trousers! / 4. Celine Pheobe Philo era pointed flats (37) in the reigning fall colour.
6. This purple suede jacket feeds my soul (think with a grey sweater, burgundy sweater, red sweater - see below for the visual - or with a sweater any colour on ROYGBIV) / 8. And, under $100 Bottega Veneta leather gloves.
That’s it for this week! Thank you for revelling with me and I hope something inspires. Have a great weekend friends.
