My hyper-fixation/August side quest is planning my spring family vacation to Colorado. It’s the longest trip we’ve taken and I am enjoying researching everything there is to do and what I’m going to wear!
i’m so envious!! Colorado is top of the list for me. Can’t wait to see what you end up doing with the fam, and if Kelly has any say, i’m sure the trip will be spectacular!
Our home base is going to be Durango, but we will have a car and want to explore the surrounding area! My husband and I went a few years ago (pre kids) and we did some intense hiking, but I think it's going to be totally different this time around! Any and all ideas are welcome, esp. from a CO resident!
Durango is one of my very favorite (and totally underrated) cities. If your kids can handle the car time I would definitely recommend the Great Sand Dunes. My kids would say it’s the best place they have ever been 😂
